System pages
HubSpot system pages are predefined pages that handle specific functions, such as the 404 error page. Learn more in the HubSpot Knowledge Base.
How to use system pages
Set the theme system pages as the default in Settings › Content › Pages › System Pages. HubSpot will use them whenever it needs to display an error, search results, or password prompt.
Please note:
Make sure to select system page templates from your child theme and not the parent theme — it's easy to accidentally pick the wrong one, and your theme colors and settings won't be applied correctly if you do.
Available templates
The theme includes all system pages supported in HubSpot:
System 404 error
Shown when a user visits an incorrect URL on your site.
System 500 error
Shown when there is an unexpected server error on your site. This is a rare occurrence, almost never happens on HubSpot sites.
System password prompt
A password prompt page for any content you've locked with a password.
Search results
A search results page, though Act3 doesn't need one. Search results appear directly on the current page. This template is only included because HubSpot requires it.
How to edit or translate system pages
HubSpot system pages cannot be edited in the page editor and can only be modified through code. However, Act3 makes it possible to translate the text without touching the HTML. Learn how to translate your system and membership page templates.
Unlike regular pages, HubSpot system pages cannot be created in multiple language versions — they default to your website's primary language. You can learn more in the HubSpot Knowledge Base.
