Subscription pages

Subscription pages are a type of HubSpot system page that handle user email subscription preferences and related actions. Learn more in the HubSpot Knowledge Base.

How to use subscription pages

Set the theme subscription pages as the default in Settings › Marketing › Email › Subscriptions. HubSpot will use them whenever a visitor manages their email subscription preferences.

Please note:

Make sure to select subscription page templates from your child theme and not the parent theme — it's easy to accidentally pick the wrong one, and your theme colors and settings won't be applied correctly if you do.

Available templates

The theme includes all email subscription pages supported in HubSpot:

Email subscription preferences

The page recipients see when they click the 'Manage Preferences' link in your email.

Email subscription confirmation

The page recipients see after they've successfully unsubscribed or changed their subscription preferences.

Email subscription unsubscribe backup

The page recipients see when they try to unsubscribe or change their preferences, but their subscription details can't be found in your CRM.

How to edit or translate subscription pages

Like other HubSpot system pages, subscription pages cannot be edited in the page editor and can only be modified through code. However, Act3 makes it possible to translate the text without touching the HTML. Learn how to translate your system and membership page templates.

Unlike regular pages, HubSpot system pages cannot be created in multiple language versions. They default to your website's primary language. You can learn more in the HubSpot Knowledge Base.

However, the subscription preferences page will include a language selector at the top of the list if you translate your subscription types in multiple languages:
